The program tries to attach itself to the start-up without asking permission first.
Thankfully I always use a start-up manager so was able to block this behaviour. I want to use programs like this when I want to use them, not have them take more RAM from my system
Could you please give us more details? What program tries to register in your start-up? MetaProducts Inquiry doesn't register there. More probably, it is the GOTD's software informer.
When I installed thie program to my main computer I got a warning that your program was trying to attach itself to my start up. It was definitly your program and not Software informer. I don't have that installed
